Scopus in Detail: What does it cover?

The title list contains the following types of sources:

  • All active sources, i.e. all sources to which articles have been added since 2003.
  • All inactive sources that are predecessors of an active source.

In addition, the following information is provided for each source in the list:

  • Source name
  • Publication type which indicates whether the source is considered a journal, a book series, a trade publication or a conference proceeding.
  • ISSN and e-ISSN (if applicable)
  • Partial coverage which indicates which years Scopus covers
  • Continuous coverage which indicates from which year Scopus has continuous coverage for that source
  • Publisher
  • Subject classification
