Scopus integrated in EES

All our journal editors and reviewers using EES, Elsevier’s online submission and peer-review system, can benefit from a seamless integration between Scopus and EES to assist them in the peer review process.

Editors enjoy unlimited access to Scopus, and now reviewers can receive 30 day access to further support them during the reviewing process. The user-friendly search bar enables any reviewer or editor using EES to search Scopus to find related articles & references and track citations from authors.

Merv Fingas, head of the Emergencies Science Division at Canada’s Environmental Technology Center in Ottawa, Ontario and Editor of Journal of Hazardous Materials remarks, “Scopus is a great asset to my journal work. Access for reviewers

Your 30-day access will start from the first time you log onto EES, and activate your Scopus access via the link at the top of your assignments page in EES.

During your 30-day access period, you can also access Scopus at home, by going to www.scopus.com/reviewer respectively www.scopus.com/editor and using your EES login details.

Scopus was developed with users for users to develop a product that would fit the user\'s needs. On a continuous basis, users and reference librarians in Europe, USA and Australia are participating in contextual, concept and usability testing. Additionally, a Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board advises Scopus on the overall direction of Scopus and the development of new features. This group also contributes to the content growth strategy to ensure Scopus content stays international, current and relevant.
