The Scopus Show
  • A wealth of information about Scopus is available on the recently-launched www.info.scopus.com. We’ll bring you the highlights every quarter through the insideScopus customer magazine but be sure to check the info site regularly too.
  • Scopus representatives will be happy to talk with you at a number of forthcoming industry events. If you’re lucky you’ll catch the ‘The Scopus Show’ live game show for librarians. You may even win a prize! If there are more meetings you think Scopus should attend please let us know via inside@scopus.com.

  • Scopus can help you increase the visibility and usage of all of your full-text journal subscriptions. Fully compatible with all the major link resolvers such as SFX and LinkFinderPlus, Scopus allows you to create buttons and links (with images or logos of your choice) from almost anywhere in the product, so your users can instantly see whether they are entitled to access a particular full-text article through their library. Where you do not have a subscription, you can also choose to display a button to direct your users to an inter-library loan service or to your preferred document delivery supplier. Visit the new Scopus info site at www.info.scopus.com/setup/links to find out how to set this up and increase traffic to the full-text journals you’ve invested in.
  • Elsevier recently built a new management tool for you to manage the settings of your Scopus and ScienceDirect accounts. You can view and amend the settings for both products by logging on at https://admintool.elsevier.com. As well as saving product settings such as article-level linking preferences, you can also manage access within your IP range by creating any number of users and departments - even for remote users - and then monitor the usage statistics per group.
  • You can make sure your users find Scopus and all your other resources by putting banners and search boxes on your institution and/or library websites. Visit www.info.scopus.com/setup/promo to choose from a range of shapes and sizes to fit your website.
