From the Editor

Welcome to the latest edition of inside Scopus. In this issue we focus on several topics that we’re confident you’ll find of interest:

  • How Scopus can help simplify the complex task of research performance analysis using the h-index and other Scopus smart tools like the Scopus Citation Tracker and the Scopus Author Identifier
  • How Scopus can help you create awareness and drive usage throughout your user community
  • New enhancements and content expansion plans

As part of Elsevier’s initiative to become more environmentally friendly, starting with this edition, inside Scopus will appear only in electronic format as an eNewsletter. We will continue to bring you the same quality information about new Scopus developments and provide you with interesting stories from your colleagues and their end user communities on how they are making the most of Scopus. These stories will be collected from our current subscriber base, which currently comprises more than 800 institutions including colleges and universities, government agencies, medical schools, hospitals and corporations.

We'd love to hear from you with any feedback about Scopus. Please contact us at inside@scopus.com.
