As a Matter of Fact

For accurate, unbiased research performance analysis

Scopus Custom Data helps:

• Assess the competitive landscape
• Rank institutions, departments, research groups and individuals
• Support tenure and promotion decision making
• Setting policy

One of Scopus’ many strengths is its facilitation of research performance analysis, increasingly being used by researchers, policy makers, administrators and others in academia, government and industry. A number of customers, however, have expressed the need to be able to upload specific core records into their own in-house systems for large scale analyses. To respond to that need, we’re launching Scopus Custom Data.

Scopus Custom Data is a new product designed to deliver specified datasets for local storage. Working in close collaboration with our team of database experts, clients can define their requirements for extraction from Scopus’
30 million records. The XML output can be imported into their systems in order to carry out their research analysis freely.

Scopus’ breadth of content contributes to its wide acknowledgement as a database of choice for research performance analysis. It’s breadth of 15,000 international peer-reviewed journals from 4,000 publishers provide the analyst with the broadest international coverage available.

The structured data and rich data elements and fields offer the analyst the easiest way to freely examine the datasets they have acquired.

Above all, Scopus Custom Data offers value for money. The transparent modular pricing structure allows the customer to pick and choose specified datasets, and annual updates if needed.
