Welcome to the fifth issue of Inside Scopus

This edition of inside Scopus launches our new, environmentally friendly electronic format. In this issue we highlight how Scopus can help simplify the complex task of research performance analysis using the h-index and other Scopus smart tools such as the citation tracker and author identifier. We also discuss Scopus Custom Data, our new offering designed to deliver specified datasets for local storage, and how we are expanding our content.

Our priorities remain the same, using our user-centered design approach to develop content, enhance functionality and add more evaluation capabilities to support researchers' workflow. View an overview of the contents below and click on any of the links to read the complete article.

We'd love to hear from you with any feedback about Scopus,

Please contact us at inside@scopus.com.

Frequent Scopus and h-index user, Peter Brimblecombe,
University of East Anglia and Editor-in-Chief of Atmospheric Environment
